About Easy Play

I strongly recomend that you try this method first, because it's easier to play with it compared with the other one (at this moment), also, with Easy Play you can play:

- Coop (2 players only)
- The Mercenaries (of from 2 to 4 players)
- Versus (of from 2 to 4 players)

Installing Easy Play

  Step 1                                                                                                                     

Install Resident Evil 5 (v1.0.0.129)

  Step 2                                                                                                                     

Install the latest version of Tunngle. (Click here to get the latest version of Tunngle)

IMPORTANT: You have to be sure that you already have the port 11155 open or that you had played earlier in Tunngle, any game, if not, go to this link: (Click here)

Note: If you already have the port 11155 open and you do not have any error dialog box when opening/loggin on Tunngle, then you are ready to begin.

  Step 3                                                                                                                     

Download Easy Play from any of these mirrors:
SendSpace - MediaFire - DepositFiles - RapidShare - MultiUpload - Mega

  Step 4                                                                                                                     

Extract the content of  RE_5_-_Tunngle_Easy_Play_1.2_0-with 10017 last versus mode version.rar  into the Resident Evil 5 base folder, which is usually in:

Windows 32bits
C:\Program Files\Capcom\RESIDENT EVIL 5

Windows 64bits
C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\RESIDENT EVIL 5

Note: Your Antivirus must NOT block or delete any of the content files, this is very important because if not you will not be able to see hosted games or play in Tunngle.

  Step 5                                                                                                                     

Give Admin Rights to versus.exe and RE5 Tunngle Easy Play.exe

  Step 6                                                                                                                     

Execute RE5 Tunngle Easy Play.exe (as Admin), then select Start Resident Evil 5 [DX9] or Start Resident Evil 5 [DX10] (to your judgment).

IMPORTANT: If your Antivirus shows some pop up, allow it, also, you must have your Firewall tuned off.
RECOMMENDED: Turn off your Firewall and Antivirus, AVG is very unfriendly with the dlls.

  Step 7                                                                                                                     

When the game is launched, over the course of the spash screen and the main menu you MUST hear a female voice saying "working", that means that you are ready to play. In case of you don't hear anything you will have to check the previous steps.

Note: After playing don't forget to turn ON your Firewall and Antivirus, in case of.

Epilogue

By far this is the best I can do for you, if you really want to play Coop, The Mercenaries or Versus, you will succeed, because too many people who have used this tutorial and have followed to the letter are playing or have played on Tunngle.
